Just six weeks after filing for insolvency, the MONKEY WORKS team has a future again: With effect from September 28, 2017, insolvency administrator Bähr transferred the business operations to Tianjin Elco Monkeyworks Technologie Co. Ltd. as part of a restructuring transfer, and agreed a seamless takeover of the team with the buyer.
On August 14, 2017, the management of MONKEY WORKS GmbH filed for insolvency proceedings. Thereupon the preliminary insolvency proceedings were ordered and lawyer Dr. iur. h.c. Rainer M. Bähr appointed as preliminary insolvency administrator. On September 28, 2017, the insolvency proceedings were opened and Bähr was confirmed as the insolvency administrator.
MONKEY WORKS is a start-up company that develops and sells software solutions for the development of industrial apps with which machines and systems can be monitored or communication between (partially) autonomous machines is possible (keyword: Industry 4.0).
